About

I’m one of the lucky ones. I’ve been following my bliss! I used to work in the Insurance Industry. Had a good job too! But, after years of insurance, I decided enough was enough and I quit. Then I opened my home to artists to exhibit their work to the public. Then I got the notion it was time to do some travelling, so I sold my home and most of my worldly belonging – I kept my art! Next thing I knew, I was off to Europe. I lived for extended periods of time in Paris, London, Ischia (Italy), with Paris being the longest stay – one blissful year. I also got to spend some quality time travelling through the western part of the USA – Arizona, Nevada, and most of California – bottom to top! I recently returned to Toronto (in September 2010), cause it seemed to be where the wind was blowing me. I don’t think it’s a permanent stay, but for now it’s back to the familiar.

Thinker, Seeker, Observer, Student, Teacher, Writer.  I’m passionate about art in all it’s many forms.  I’m passionate about finding truth and living the best life possible.  I love talking about and exploring that which we’ve forgotten.

Hi Mary Anne, I admire your spirit and passion for living! Many people complain about the economy, job security, how they’re stuck in a rut… but they never do anything about it except bitch. The funny thing is nobody’s holding them back, it’s all conditioning and narrow-minded perceptions about life, they may never understand freedom or inner liberation. It’s like that funny diatribe from the opening lines of Trainspotting, LOL. So congrats, immerse fully in your journey and love life!

    • Thanks, I agree with you. I keep coming across people who are quite content to complain about their current situation, and all the reasons why they can’t do something. I think I used to be that person too. But, once I decided that it was time for a change, it was the easiest decision I’d ever made – and the most rewarding. I keep trying to explain that to others, but ….
I am loving life and know that there is so much more to explore.
What is your name by the way? Oh, and mine is Sandy – although I’ll answer to Mary Anne as well – LOL!!
Keep blogging cause I love what you are doing.
      Much Love

  8. I just now got around to reading your “about” and see that you spent time in Ischia! That is one of my all-time favorite places – I always call it to myself “Isola di Fiori” because of the flowers that almost smother it! con amore, tommaso ♥
